GAME RULES

This is a game of a card battle between 2 players. You are the 1st Player and the 2nd Player is your opponent. Each player has health and mana points that allow them to buy cards from their hand. The player dies when his health point is 0 and when he has no more cards to play.

Place a card in an empty square. To do this, hold down the left mouse button. Pay attention to the timer. Use your cards (attack points) to attack your opponent’s cards (health points) and hand area to reduce their life points.

Strategize

The more you choose the best cards and the affinities between them, the more you will be able to win.

Attack

You can aim directly the deck hand area of your opponent to reduce their health points when you can.

Manage your time

Take your time, learn more about cards and their characteristics. As you play, keep an eye on the timer.

FIVE CATEGORIES OF CARDS

Characters: card placed on the board with attack and health points, can attack other cards or the hand deck area of the opponent.

Artifacts: also placed on the board, but cannot attack as it has no attack point, instead it has a passive ability.

Spells: cards with one time effect, resolved immediately when played, then it goes directly in the discard.

Equipments: card must be played on a character already in play. Discarded when the character dies. Maximum of 1 equipment per character.

Secrets: when played, the card will stay hidden to the other player. It will be triggered (and effect resolved) during the opponent’s turn and when the trigger condition is met which is described on each card.

A CHARACTER CARD CONTAINS

Title: name of the character.

Mana cost: how much it costs to play the card from hand.

Rarity: rarer cards appear less often when opening packs. They are also associated with IUCN classification – International Union for the conservation of nature following the level of extinction of the species. Green = Common/least concern, Blue = Uncommon/near threatened, Yellow = Rare/threatened, Red = Mythic/extinct.

Ability: each card has unique ability explained when hovering the card.

Attack: when attacking, health points(HP) of the other card will be reduced by the attack point of the opponent’s card.

Health Point(HP): when HP of the card reaches 0 after an attack, the card is destroyed.

Faction: each card belongs to one of the three factions (forest, fire, water). This allows the player to gain life points(forest faction) or electrify one of the opponent’s cards(fire faction), draw a card (water faction)
